If you help others, we're here to help you

Successful Survivors Solutions used to be Successful Survivors Speaker Bureau. We made the shift in response to Covid shutting down live events. In addition to speakers who encourage, educate, and empower, we expanded to add subject matter experts who help solve the challenges that people like you and organizations like yours face in your efforts to do good in the world.

What we thought was the worst possible news for a speaker bureau may just be the best possible news for our clients.

As we look ahead to whatever the future holds, one thing is clear, if non-profit organizations and ministries are going to survive, the need for affordable solutions to the challenges faced is greater now than ever before. The changes we've made will give you access to the expertise you need from people who understand your issues and share your faith and values.

Through Successful Survivors Solutions you have a team of people ready to help you fulfill your mission.

Social worker-turned-lawyer, Debbie Ausburn, J.D., is the author of Raising Other People's Children (set for release in May 2021). Debbie provides child welfare policy and risk management consultation, and staff, board, and foster parent training. As a practicing defense lawyer, Debbie and her team at Taylor English in Atlanta, GA, are ready to advise and defend child and family organizations.

PR specialists, Alexis and Justin Black, are ready to help you promote your organization or ministry, your book, or yourself in ways that will grow your influence, your audience, and support for your cause. As the authors of Redefining Normal: How Two Foster Kids Beat The Odds and Discovered Healing, Happiness and Love, which debuted at #1 in three categories on Amazon, Alexis and Justin are available to speak and train on breaking generational patterns, healthy relationships, foster care, and yes, public relations.

Certified Life and Academic Coach, Jenny Christiansen, is a 25-year educator and Christian school administrator. Jenny is passionate about helping people find their authentic identity and achieve their maximum impact.

Philanthropy Strategist, Marty Dutch, helps match high-net worth individuals with non-profit organizations that best reflect their passion and values. Marty helps non-profit organizations develop their boards and their fundraising programs, while helping high-net worth families fulfill their philanthropic goals while retaining their wealth beyond the third generation.

Mental health professional, Amber Jewell, LMSW, is the author of Finding Hope--the art of healing from hardships (set for release in August 2021). Amber is an expert in trauma, self-care, and crisis services. In addition to compelling keynotes, Amber is ready to provide therapeutic crisis response to individuals and families and continuing education training for foster parents and social workers.

Ministry and non-profit strategist, Pamela McCann, of Women of Faith, has worked with large and small ministries nationally to fulfill their vision and mission. Pamela believes that engagement is where change happens, in ministries, and the people they serve. Pamela's strategies help to unleash the potential of everyone involved for their greatest impact.

Successful Survivor of childhood abuse, Diana Moshier, is a successful realtor and health and wellness consultant in Southern California. She shares her story in an effort to help survivors to break the bondage of trauma and to encourage survivors to overcome painful experiences by recognizing and celebrating their strengths.

Specialist in issues related to inclusion and equality and people with disabilities, Melissa Ortiz, former HHS Commissioner, Administration of Disabilities and ADA policy advisor, wants to help you make your place of business, worship, or community gathering welcoming to everyone, including those with disabilities. Melissa accomplishes this through common sense solutions regarding accessible space, educating employees, and creating opportunities for people with disabilities to become productive employees. In addition, Melissa is available to speak and train on topics such as resilience, civic engagement, and self advocacy in all areas of life.

Our founder, Rhonda Sciortino, is a child welfare policy and risk management consultant, author of 13 books, including Succeed Because Of What You've Been Through, creator of the Your Real Success program, is a powerful speaker and trainer, and is champion of the Love Is Action Community Initiative.

Leadership and physical fitness specialist, Dr. Crystal Van Kempen-McClanahan (or Dr. Crystal VM, as we call her), is a John Maxwell Award Winner in Leadership, and creator of Leadercise. Dr. Crystal brings powerful keynotes and trainings that integrate body, mind, and spirit.

Evaluation Consultants like William Wubbenhorst, MBA, former Associate Commissioner at HHS Family and Youth Services Bureau, is a non-resident scholar at Baylor University. William can support your needs for data-driven research, including return on investment analysis of community-based programs that can help to communicate the impact along with your story in a way that demonstrates efficacy and helps you raises awareness and funds for your good work.

Some of us are successful survivors of trauma, while others have helped survivors to thrive. Regardless of our perspectives, we all share the messages and wisdom that we have acquired along the way in the form of powerful, inspiring keynotes, workshops, retreats, coaching, consulting, and expert witness work.

The isolation and challenges of our present situation aren’t as temporary as we initially hoped — but we can thrive despite them, perhaps even because of them!

We would love to help you motivate your team, inform your process, assist with legal or organizational challenges, and help spur you to success. Together, we will all do more than survive this season — we will Successfully Survive!

The next time you need help of any kind, we hope you'll think of us. We're here for you.

Successful Survivors Solutions is an initiative of Successful Survivors Foundation, an educationally based 501 c 3 organization.
